Alpha Workshops
Working to expand their stellar reputation for stunning hand-painted papers, Alpha Workshops showed their complete product line (lamps, finishes, licensed textiles) in room vignettes created by design notable Matthew Patrick Smyth and color showman Jamie Drake.

Creating lots of buzz were their new hand-painted zebra floorcloths, a way to get graphic punch and stay true to your PETA convictions. Say, isn't that AT regular Ruth working the booth?! (Full disclosure: I've contributed work to this amazing place, but even if it weren't for those ties, I'd still be a champion of this incredible organization that trains and hires people living with HIV/AIDS in the decorative arts, producing some of the most rich, beautiful modern wallpapers on the market today.)

Oh, Canada!
(various designers/distributors)
A crushed glass light fixture from Ridgely Studio Works, a slick take on graffiti-inspired laminated glass coffee table by Davide Tonizzo, and this split-bench by Matthew Kroeker were highlights of this Canadian group exhibit.

Amuneal Manufacturing
While I'd be hard-pressed to find residential use for this company specializing in metal fabrication, their own brochure stands were (for me, the typography junkie) a traffic-stopper.
